Acting Marketing Director (12 month FTC)
What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a talented an Acting Marketing Director for a fixed term contract, to lead our award-winning Marketing team. We want someone who will get stuck into the role from the get-go using their experience to lead and drive the team; to be a voice of authority, both internally and externally and to oversee the management of the Marketing team with several direct reports.
Who we are looking for
This is an opportunity for someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit who has some management experience, as well as a string of successfully orchestrated award-winning marketing campaigns to their name. Experience across both fiction and non-fiction trade publishing with a particular emphasis on digital marketing would be preferred. It would be a good step up for someone at Head of Marketing level to gain some senior management experience within a dynamic and talented team.
Reporting to the Communications Director, the Acting Marketing Director will lead the development of the Marketing strategy across all of Headline’s imprints. You will act as a voice of authority within the business, working with all departments to enable your team to drive sales through strategic Marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a big picture thinker and confident independent decision-maker with exceptional creative instincts and strong commercial acumen.
This is a one-year FTC starting in September 2022, covering a parental leave.
