Administrative Assistant (FTC), Quercus

What you’ll be doing

You'll be assisting the Marketing Director, with diverse responsibilities  including supporting the Laurence King Publishing Student and Professional team with inspection copy mailings and processing feedback and providing vital administrative support across the department. You will work closely with the publicity, sales and editorial departments, creating excellent relationships with your colleagues in each of them.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing and co-ordinating mailings

- Assist the Marketing Director with day-to-day tasks

- Assist with the preparation of presentations

- Managing and co-ordinating all aspects of inspection copy mailings

- Processing inspection copy feedback

- Support outreach to facilities which consider student titles for adoption

- Taking minutes and preparing documents for all company meetings

- Processing invoices across the company

- Prize administration across the lists

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for someone to provide administrative support to our busy marketing team, with a keen eye for detail and a love of ticking things off a to do list!

-             An organised, diligent team player

-             An ability to work to competing tight deadlines

-             Excellent attention to detail

-             Excellent skills in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)

-             Photoshop skills would be an advantage

-             A willingness to learn and ask questions
