Editorial Assistant

What you’ll be doing

Hodder Education is looking for an Editorial Assistant to join our busy and friendly team. The job involves editorial and administrative tasks relating to a wide range of textbooks and digital resources for primary and secondary schools. Tasks include:

  • Checking proofs and book covers
  • Uploading ebooks
  • Setting up and testing digital content
  • Processing paperwork for new freelancers.

Training will be provided.

Who we are looking for

You will be highly efficient, with a close eye for detail, and an excellent communicator.  A can-do attitude is essential, along with a proven ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.

An interest in educational publishing will be an advantage. Degree level education in any subject is desirable, although we would particularly welcome more applications from science and computing graduates.
