What you’ll be doing
We are looking to bring in a senior editorial talent who will bring creativity and commercial awareness to their publishing. The successful candidate will have line management responsibilities, take on existing authors and have the freedom to acquire selectively for the list. We are looking for someone proactive, who thinks ambitiously for their authors with the ability to drive the strategy for their books, working closely with the wider team.
Who we’re looking for
This role would suit a dynamic and self-motivated individual who loves commercial fiction and reads widely across genres with at least four years publishing experience. We are looking for someone who thinks strategically across all formats of a publication and wants to join the team at one of the most successful imprints in the UK. A team player with strong communication skills, a track record of successful commercial publishing, an ability to think globally and an understanding of the importance of metadata are essential.
