Image Manager (Parental Leave Cover)

What you’ll be doing

The role of Image Manager is within the Orion art department and will involve working closely with the art and editorial teams; working across all the Orion imprints, with a particular focus on non-fiction. The contract is for 6 months with a potential extension.

Who we’re looking for

The successful candidate will be responsible for all image research, licences and budgets across a diverse range of subjects from historical archive photos to sports and celebrities. You will be expected to work within all areas of image research, dealing with photographers and libraries on internal images and covers.


You must be creative, highly organised and efficient with excellent communication and negotiating skills as well as meticulous attention to detail.


Candidates must have a minimum of two years’ experience of working in picture research. A thorough knowledge of image licensing and copyright is a must.

What we offer

This position is ideal for someone who wishes to work part-time for a six-month period or possibly longer, on an array of titles within an exciting and creative environment. All based in our London riverside offices.
