Key Account Manager, Hachette UK
What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a passionate and motivated team player to manage the Waterstones account across the Hodder & Stoughton and John Murray Press divisions.
Responsibilities will include achieving the Waterstones sales budgets across the Hodder & Stoughton and John Murray Press divisions; fostering relationships with key Waterstones head office contacts and booksellers, and working closely with internal sales, marketing, editorial and publicity departments to drive Waterstones sales with enthusiasm, creativity and commercial expertise.

The successful candidate will have:
- A proven sales track record
- Knowledge of the Waterstones account
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail
- Commercial awareness
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to work as a team player

The role will begin working from home due to ongoing Covid19 restrictions, but once normality resumes this role will be based at our London office, Carmelite House. with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
