Production Controller, Hachette Children's Group

What you’ll be doing

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Production team. This controller role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work across a broad range of books, with a focus on front list fiction, colour non-fiction on our Watts and Wayland lists, and handling e-books. You will also provide support on co-editions and reprints as required in a small, friendly team.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a candidate with experience and skills in the following:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in book production with hands on experience
  • Used to working in Biblio for costings, schedules and ordering
  • Experience of working with overseas repro and print suppliers, especially in the Far East an advantage
  • A team player who is highly organised and dependable to join our hardworking department.
