Sales Administration Assistant (Temporary), Hachette UK

Who we are and what we do

Hachette UK, one of the UK’s leading publishing groups, is seeking an enthusiastic, organised sales administrator to join the busy Sales Department in a temporary role. This role in the sales team works across our trade publishers, Headline, Hodder & Stoughton, John Murray Press and Quercus.

What you’ll be doing

This role is all about ensuring that our customers receieve the best possible information, selling material and general support. 

Key areas of responsibility include processing orders, collating sales materials and producing presentations for a variety of UK customers including WHSmith, Morrisons, Waitrose and the wholesalers.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will need to be extremely efficient, able to work on your own initiative and have a determination to get the job done. 

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a true team player, who can make a real contribution to a dynamic department.

It is key that you are passionate about books, but also that you have an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task.

With exceptional organisational, numerical and communication skills and a sound knowledge of all computer packages

What we offer

This role will be availble as soon as possible and will continue until the end of 2020.
