Sales Operations Assistant (fixed-term), Hachette UK
What you’ll be doing
The Group Sales Operations team, work with Hodder, Headline, John Murray Press, Quercus, Little, Brown, Orion, Octopus and Hachette Children’s Group publishing.
Our Group Sales Operations department are looking for a Sales Operations Assistant to provide support on a fixed term basis, in the smooth running of all sales operations related functions. This is a busy position that provides the opportunity to work across multiple divisions and a diverse range of titles and authors.
You will be required to work closely with the rest of the operations department and will play a key role in providing essential support to the divisional Sales teams. Typical tasks include:
- Producing sell-in material for the sales team to use in customer meetings
- Working closely with teams to help coordinate events and signings
- Assisting with mailings, reports, grids and presentations as requested
- Communicating key operational information to customers and other departments
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter to assist the fast-paced Operations team, offering administrative support. Candidates must have strong organisational skills, with a good eye for detail. You must be an excellent communicator and show confidence in dealing with colleagues both internally and externally. A working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is key alongside an ability to learn new processes and systems.
