What you’ll be doing
Are you an exceptional publicist and communicator with experience of creating campaigns within the arts sector? Or someone who has experience in leading campaigns and would like to join the world of publishing?
Do you have enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and the drive to learn and innovate?
We have an exciting opportunity to join the award-winning Orion Communications team in a dynamic role that is perfect for someone keen to develop their campaigning skills. You will be planning and executing outstanding publicity campaigns for fiction and non-fiction titles, podcasts and special editions.
You will be responsible for: devising, creating and delivering campaigns; attending festivals and events; organising digital events; building third party partnerships; working to secure impactful media, digital content, influencer engagement; and supporting authors.
There will also be opportunities to collaborate with and support the senior team members on key campaigns and share the general administrative tasks for the Communications department.

- Have a demonstrable interest in communications and wider industry innovation
- Campaigns experience, ideally within the arts sector, however this role would also suit someone with press office or agency experience
- Will relish the opportunity to travel with authors, help manage schedules and attend a range of events, some of which will be out of normal office hours.

The role can be based at our London office, Carmelite House, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week. However, we are very happy to discuss the option of this role being based in one of our national offices in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Sheffield, Bristol or Manchester.
